CRF450L,全新的两用运动摩托车

Those of us atUltimate Motorcycling, along with everyone else who loves riding in the dirt, have been hectoring the Japanese manufacturers to build a high-performance dual-sport motorcycle. Those demands have gone unheeded until now.

这段话的意思就是:美国人比较牛逼,喜欢更牛逼的运动摩托车,更喜欢在泥巴地里极限驾驶,所以日本人发现了美国人比较牛逼的这个特点于是做了这个车……

The 2019 Honda CRF450L looks to be exactly what the editors ordered. Let’s take a look at this all-new model that is based on the all-new Honda CRF450X dirt bike, which itself is based on the latest Honda CRF450R motocrosser!

这个2019的L版的这个CRF450呢,大概是源自于CRF450R,为了能上路,为了高性能,从CRF450X的版本上降低的配置跟售价,于是出来了L版的这个车。

1. The 2019 Honda CRF450L hits the scales at well under 300 pounds with its two-gallon titanium fuel tank filled with high test. For comparison, that means the street-legal CRF450L weighs just 14 pounds more than the emissions-friendly off-road CRF450X and only 42 pounds more than the CRF450R supercross racer. That is absolutely impressive, and bodes well for the CRF450L’s performance off-road, as well as on pavement.

这个大概意思就是:这个L版呢,为了增加公路上的某些性能,增加了油箱容量,所以重量比较大了,比X版的重了14磅,比R版的重了42磅。这样虽然不够专业了,但是更加适应了公路。

2. The 2019 Honda CRF450L’s chassis and motor are slightly modified versions of the new CRF450R motocross racer. We’re used to seeing compromised frame and suspension, in addition to a motor that is either outdated or vaguely related to the top performers off-road. In the case of the CRF450L, Honda didn’t cut corners and went straight to the same parts bin used by the racing motorcycles.

这个的意思大概是:本田认为要把更专业的东西给用户,所以发动机跟专业的CRF450是一样的……但是,我认为,是我认为,不是翻译的,我认为:因为不想投入更多磨具,所以把专业赛车的配件,降低了动力输出后,直接用到民用版上面……

3. Many of the changes to make the CRF450L are replicated transformation of the CRF450R the CRF450X. Check out our 2019 Honda CRF450X First Look story to find out how the motorcycle differs from the full-on racers—the differences are fewer than you would expect. You still get high-end adjustable Showa suspension, an aluminum frame, and the potent Unicam powerplant.

这一段其实就是说L版就是跟X跟R 是一个平台的,调校不同(减震悬挂价格不同、性能不同),坐高降低了,这让我想起了当年的XR跟XLR的区别。

4. To go from an off-road bike to a street-legal motorcycle did require a number of changes. The 2019 Honda CRF450L gets different ECU settings for cleaner running, a more restrictive airbox to quiet things down, various emissions-controlling doo-dads, a fan for the thermostat-controlled high-capacity radiators, a more powerful AC generator for the streetable LED lighting, a stronger lithium-ion battery, rubber-damped steel sprockets, thicker case covers to deaden noise, a dedicated box for electronics, mirrors, switchgear, DOT-legal IRC rubber, and oddly enough, urethane injected into the swingarm to make it quieter. All that adds just 14 pounds to the CRF450L—amazing.

意思大概是:L版的增加了油箱跟风扇,还有锂电池,还有更多让民用起来更舒服的配置,更加民用化的配件,更加……于是只是增加了14磅的重量,这很牛逼。所以,赶紧买就是了。

5. Although the CRF450L won’t have the power of the uncorked CRF450R, it does have the motor architecture. We will have an immediate interest in seeing what sort of personalization we can do to get the motor to perform to our liking. We can’t predict how the CRF450L motor will run, and we have high expectations based on Honda’s engineering reputation, but more power will always be welcome.

大致意思是:L版的车动力输出很绵软,所以会很耐用,要相信本田的工程师的技术水平,实用至上使他们的特点。总之,很耐用很耐用很耐用……

6. We admit it—we’re enthusiastic about the 2019 Honda CRF450L. The Europeans—KTM, Husqvarna, and Beta—have had it too easy in the hard-core dual-sport market. The 2019 Honda CRF450L is a shot right across the bow of the Euros. We can’t wait to see how accurate Honda’s aim is.

对于林道越野来说,欧洲人玩的很专业,但是本田出这个L版的意思就是让更多人慢慢进入这项运动中来,一步进入那个台阶太困难,一步一步来嘛~要想变成大神,又不敢直接买牛逼的林倒车,不如先买一个CRF450L入个门?

7. Be patient—the 2019 Honda CRF450L won’t be available until September. Also, the flagship Japanese dual-sporter has a five-figure price tag. The MSRP is $10,399.

最后爆出价格:10399美元,折合人民币:6~7万块吧……

最后这个照片,我也是日了狗了,什么年代了?还给我们不变径的车把?牌子就牌子吧,不变径什么意思?还给可以更换把坐的连板,然后再让我们回家自己找名牌的车把买一台变径车把?

比起中国制造的越野摩托车来说,日本车太多套路了……

2019 Honda CRF450X | All-New Off-Road Motorcycle

2019款全新的越野摩托车CRF450X

While the CRF450X may be a familiar model, the 2019 Honda CRF450X is a huge step forward from previous iterations.

he new CRF450X takes its cues from the latest 2019 Honda CRF450R motocrosser, rather than relying on an outdated chassis and motor. Amazingly, as late as 2018, the CRF450X was still running a carburetor.

大概意思是今年的X版CRF450,已经换了电喷了,要知道2018款的还是化油器的呢!

Everything has changed to make the 2019 Honda CRF450X an all-new 450X that remains ready for everything from single-track to Baja.

所有老款的都变了,不管是跑林道还是去跑拉力,都能搞定。

1. The new 2019 Honda CRF450R is the basis of this motorcycle. The basic chassis and motor is the starting point for the 2019 Honda CRF450X, a long-overdue rethinking of the Green Sticker legal dirt bike that still had potential for racing.

这款X版的车,直接就是在最新的2019的R版上进行改型的,增加了电路系统而已。

2. The 2019 Honda CRF450X uses a modified CRF450R motor. The same Unicam design powerplant is there, and that includes the EFI system. To make it more trail-worthy, the motor gets different valve timing, a 12 percent increase in crankshaft inertia, a three-ring piston, a torquier exhaust design (just one muffler), and a much lower compression ratio. Large capacity radiators will help avoid overheating during the summer.

在R版的基础上,改变了曲轴跟活塞,跟专业车不一样,为了更耐用,活塞环有三道环,两道气环跟一道油环。点火时间也有不同,让功率下降一点,寿命增加一点。排气管只有一个。加大了水箱,以便于更好的散热。

3. The 2019 Honda CRF450X also gets bottom end mods, with the big news being a six-speed transmission. Honda CRF450X owners have been begging for a sixth cog for over a decade, and it finally arrives with the 2019 model. Thanks to a wide-ratio design, it’s desert-ready, as well as capable in the tightest single-track. The clutch has a lighter pull, plus a damping mechanism designed to smooth out torque pulses on the trail. Like the new CRF450R, the CRF450X is electric-start only.

X版的是6个档的,没有脚启动,只有电启动,做点比较宽,在沙漠里长时间坐着,不会屁股难受。离合器比较轻。

4. Remaining Green Sticker legal, expect the emissions controls to choke up the 2019 Honda CRF450X. There’s a huge USFS-approved spark arrestor, an emissions canister, and emissions-friendly ECU settings. It’s anyone’s guess how the stock 2019 Honda CRF450X will run, but don’t get your hopes up. While it may be adequate in stock configuration for the most casual of trail riders, we know that there is plenty of power lurking inside the motor waiting to be released. Of course, Honda andUltimate Motorcyclingwould never be so bold to suggest modifying the CRF450X’s motor to your need. Oh, no, of course not. We can’t wait to get our hands on it.

这一条大致意思是:这个车是为了环保才做出来的,加了碳罐之类的,满足绿色环保的排放,但是请放心的改吧,他已经迫不及待了……总之就是这个车虽然是X版,但是真的跟R版很相同,很牛逼,放心“操”就行了……

5. The frame is CRF450R-based, with a few minor changes in geometry. The 2019 Honda CRF450X’s wheelbase is longer and there’s a tad more rake. The Showa suspension is the same as on the CRF450R, but it’s setup for off-road riding, rather than supercross.

车架子就是跟R版的一样,用的昭和的减震器跟R班的一样,但是调校不是场地的调校。

6. There are all sorts of items that you already associate with CRF-X models on the 2019 CRF450X. There’s an 18-inch wheel in the back. Tires are Dunlop Geomax MX52s. You get a halogen headlight and LED taillight, basic LCD meter, aluminum Renthal handlebar with a padded crossbar, as well as a kickstand and endless sealed chain.

跟R版不同的是,X版多了边撑、大灯、LCD的仪表,跟18寸的后轮,轮胎花纹是邓禄普MX52s。

7. The titanium fuel tank holds only two gallons. That’s not much off-road, though EFI will give the 2019 Honda CRF450X an improved range.

邮箱是钛合金的,比R版多了两加仑,但是这足够用了。

8. We can’t wait to ride an uncorked 2019 Honda CRF450X. We’ll be interested in seeing how the motor works off the showroom floor with all the emissions nonsense on it, but the real fun is when the new CRF450X motor is allowed to breathe and take advantage of the new chassis.

大致意思:天哪,这个车这么牛逼,我们绝对不能再等了,迫不及待呀!我现在就要骑!

9. You will have to wait until October to get a 2019 Honda CRF450X in your garage. When it shows up at your dealer, the sticker will tell you that it runs $9799.

大致意思:好吧,9月份就能买到了,价格也不贵,9799美元噎……

应该是减少了不少配置跟L版比起来,所以也相对的便宜一点,应该是不用上路,所以也便宜一点。人民币的话比L版便宜800~900美金吧。
